Each component of my dog tag necklace is cut by hand from solid sheets of sterling silver and embellished with hammered design, while the recesses are blackened for effect. This manly pendant hangs from a manly brown leather cord. Every line, every mark on the surface is deliberate even as the results are sometimes unexpected.
